Instrumental Life

Hey there,

We were asked to make some instrumental versions of our songs for a television series, which is really cool of course.
But rather than just leaving them on our hard drive to pick up digital dust, we thought we would set them free and see if anyone would be interested in doing something creative with them. 

So we’re launching a RELIX COMPETITION! A what? What on earth is a relix? It’s like a remix, but you only remix the lyrics/vocals.

All you have to do is go to our bandcamp page and download the instrumental versions of our songs. Choose the one you want to relix, write some cool lyrics, record them and then send us a link to the song so we can listen to it (we recommend SoundCloud). 

If you don’t have any recording equipment, try Garageband and the built in microphone on Mac, or Audacity on PC. You can even sing along to the instrumental while recording it with your mobile phone! If you’re lacking inspiration for lyrics, you can use a public domain poem or re-record the original lyrics karaoke style, but we’d like to hear what Roll Over sounds like in Japanese, so don’t hesitate to sing in your own language if you’re not comfortable in English! :)

The best Relix will be released as a single via our bandcamp page with custom artwork!
